Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $18/hour
Schedule:
1st Shift Monday-Friday
6:00 am-2:30 pm, hour unpaid lunch, 2 paid breaks

What’s a typical day as a Production Technician I – Bead Blasting? You’ll be:
• Setting up and preparing parts for blasting by masking and loading them into the bead blast machine
• Operating and running the blast machine
• Troubleshooting various issues
• Removing dirt, paint, grease, and other built-up material from surfaces
• Performing Quality Checks as directed
• Maintaining 5S in the work area
• Following company policies, plant rules, and safety regulations
• Assisting coworkers as needed
• Communicating efficiently and effectively with coworkers and supervisors to ensure jobs are completed correctly
• Demonstrating the proper use of tools and equipment
• Performing all other duties as assigned
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess knowledge of tools and equipment required for bead blasting
• Are familiar with precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes
• Have experience in finishing in a manufacturing environment or transferable manufacturing experience
• Can read assembly drawings and follow directions/specifications
• Have the ability to use hand tools
• Can handle intricate parts
• Have strong attention to detail
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and handle heavy parts up to 30 lbs.
• Must be able to stand for extended time periods, up to the entire shift
• Must be able to bend, squat, kneel, or climb a stepladder while working
• Must be able to reach above and forward at least 18 inches
• Must possess hand dexterity and install small hardware
• Must have good vision to inspect parts and assemblies
