Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented, reliable, and organized Machine Operator to join our expanding team. As a PEM Machine Operator, you will be responsible for the fabrication of sheet metal products to customer specifications, ensuring that the products meet or exceed expectations. Your main responsibility will be the set-up and operation of the PEM machine, as well as uploading and executing the programs required to make customer products. This is a 1st shift position with a competitive pay rate of $20-21 per hour.

Job Specifications:
– Job Type: Full-time
– Location: Streetsboro/Aurora, OH
– Pay Rate: $20-21 per hour
– Shift: 1st Shift (Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm, hour unpaid lunch, 2 paid breaks)

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Set up and operate the PEM machines based on the type of PEM style fasteners required for the product being run
– Upload and execute programs as required to make customer products
– Read blueprints to clearly identify the type and number of PEM style fasteners required
– Validate that the parts meet customer specifications
– Execute basic math skills such as inventory counts and parts completed
– Maintain a clean and organized workspace
– Work autonomously and remain on task
– Troubleshoot production problems and communicate them to the supervisor
– Adhere to quality and shop expectations

Qualifications & Skills:
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
– Ability to read and understand blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and use other small tools
– Excellent attendance record
– Abide by safety procedures

Physical Requirements:
– Ability to stand for an extended period
– Lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds
– Visual acuity including near, distance, color, depth perception
