The Material Handler – Power Washer Pipeline Order will be responsible for the efficient and accurate handling of materials and equipment related to power washing operations for pipeline projects. This role will primarily involve operating power washing equipment to clean and prepare pipeline components for inspection, maintenance, or installation. The Material Handler will ensure that all materials are handled safely and in compliance with company guidelines and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Operate power washing equipment to clean and prepare pipeline components, including pipes, valves, and fittings.
Follow established procedures and guidelines for power washing operations to ensure proper cleaning and maintenance.
Inspect materials for any signs of damage, wear, or corrosion and report any issues to the supervisor.
Ensure that all safety protocols and guidelines are followed during the power washing process to prevent accidents or injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
Assist with inventory management by tracking and documenting materials used and reporting any shortages or discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating power washing equipment or similar machinery is preferred.
Knowledge of safety protocols and guidelines related to power washing operations.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work in outdoor environments.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
