Kelly Science has an immediate opening for a Laboratory Facilities Specialist for our growing client in Omaha, NE.
Full-time
Hours: 12pm-8:30pm
Pay: $19/hr
Are you detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about maintaining a clean and safe work environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Laboratory Facilities Specialist to help keep our lab facilities spotless, well-organized, and visitor-ready every day. In this role, you’ll be an essential part of our team, ensuring our workspaces are not only clean but safe, efficient, and welcoming.
Your Role at a Glance: As a Laboratory Facilities Specialist, you’ll be responsible for cleaning, organizing, and performing light maintenance within our lab. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring that work areas, restrooms, and break spaces meet the highest standards for cleanliness and safety. You’ll also manage inventory, stock supplies, and handle minor maintenance tasks to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain Cleanliness and Order: Sanitize lab equipment, process areas, and common spaces following strict hygiene protocols.
- Refill and Stock Supplies: Ensure all workspaces are fully stocked with the necessary materials and supplies.
- Minor Maintenance: Report any repair needs and assist with minor upkeep projects.
- Coordinate Across Teams: Work with other departments to ensure time-efficient operations.
- Follow Health & Safety Standards: Adhere to all company policies and safety protocols for a safe work environment.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Qualifications: A high school diploma or GED with relevant experience (1-3 months).
- Physical Ability: Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds, managing varying temperatures, and handling cleaning agents safely.
- Eye for Detail: Ensure every inch of the facility is spotless, organized, and ready for visitors.
