PFAS R&D Scientist
Kelly Science & Clinical is currently seeking an PFAS R&D Scientist for a contract role (potential to go perm) at one of our growing R&D and biotechnology clients onsite at their location in Philadelphia, PA.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st shift
Compensation: $80,000-$95,000/yr

Summary:
We are seeking a PFAS expert with experience working on PFAS sensing and remediation research projects

Responsibilities:

  1. Work on existing Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer Research (SBIR/STTR) projects.

  2. Write applications for new SBIR/STTR projects for NASA, NIH, NSF, DOD, and other federal agencies.

  3. Serve as principal investigator (PI) on SBIR/STTR projects.

  4. Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications

  1. The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in environmental engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering or related subjects and several first-author publications on high-impact journals and 1-3 years of industry experience.

    1. OR MS with 3-5 years of industry experience


  2. Demonstrated hands-on experience with portable PFAS sensor development and in-situ PFAS remediation methods, especially for water samples.

  3. Experience or strong understanding of PFAS regulations and standards.
