*Quarterly commissions in addition to base salary, no cap on earnings

Kelly is seeking an International Sales Director to work with our client, a manufacturer of polyurethane products, on a direct hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful local manufacturing company that is backed by a global parent business. This position will report directly to and work closely with the President, serving as a liaison between the President and the sales team.
The International Sales Director will:
- Supervise 5 direct reports
- Establish the world-wide development and implementation of sales strategies and directives
- Organize and execute the sales strategy and related actions, ensuring the establishment of a common global portfolio and branding
- Responsible for the definition of the sales strategy and monitoring of the full sales cycle
- Lead and coach the sales team and convey priorities and micro/macro level strategies
- Identify, organize, and optimize sales channels by scanning through existing sales channels as well as searching for new potential sales channels worldwide (agents, dealers, etc.)
- Define effective market positioning together with the Regional Units located internationally
- Coordinate local commercial policies according to the global strategy
- Provide direction and guidance to all sales channels to convert opportunities into new business drivers
- Ensure streamlined sales processes, avoiding triangular sales
- Understand competitors, new products, industry trends and demands
- Understand and develop the most effective, efficient, and profitable supply chain strategy through a thorough understanding of market requirements
- Influence product design and production based on industry and market requirements
- Ensure marketing alignment with sales strategies
Critical qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and/or equivalent technical knowledge and experience
- Proven sales leadership success including sales strategy development and implementation, with preference to national/international experience
- Manufacturing/industrial sales experience preferred
- Mineral processing industry experience preferred
- Experience working with and understanding any of these global industries and the machinery used in these industries: mining, grain, aggregate, concrete, industrial, coal
- Ability to travel extensively in North America and internationally
