Machine Operator – Job Description
Location: Odenton, MD 21113
Position Type: Temporary to Full-Time (Full-Time, Day Shift)
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Starting Pay: $18 per hour


Job Duties:

Kelly has partnered with a premier customer in Odenton, MD and seeking a Machine Operator to operating CNC milling or lathe machines..

  • Machine Operation: Insert urethane molded parts into machine fixtures, close safety doors, and initiate machine cycle.

  • Inspection: After the machine cycle, open the door, remove the finished part, inspect for defects, and place the part in the designated container.

  • Collaboration: Notify the Machining Supervisor when all parts are complete. Supervisor will then reprogram the machine for the next run.

  • Support Duties: Assist with trimming and finishing tasks as assigned.

  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean and organized workstation.

  • Waste Disposal: Properly dispose of scrap materials.

  • Safety Compliance: Follow all shop safety rules and machine operation guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs.

  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.

  • Commitment to safety and cleanliness in the workplace.

  • Previous experience with CNC or machine operation preferred, but not required.

Additional Information:

  • Temporary to Full-Time: There is potential for this temporary role to transition to a full-time position based on performance.
