Contract to Direct: Full time opportunity in Notrees, TX.
Must have:
Experience within an Industrial Setting – at least 1 year of experience
Mechanical experience – at least 1 year of experience
Maintenance & troubleshooting background
Pay: $25.00 – $28.00/hr
Rotating 12 hour shift with 24/7 coverage:
6am to 6p & 6p to 6am
JOB SUMMARY:
As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance
expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This
mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including catalytic oxidation,
wastewater clarification, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO) and filter press separation.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (LIST 5-7 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR THE ROLE, FOCUSING ON BROADER RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
- Conduct critical and preventative maintenance and calibration activities on equipment.
- Take samples and support the Lab FSR in performing analytical testing such as: pH, COD, DO,
- Ammonia, ATP, TSS, 30-min settling tests, Phosphorus, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements.
- Support the Lab FSR in reviewing lab data and make appropriate process changes based upon plant conditions and laboratory results.
- Utilize forklift as needed for plant operations purposes
- Monitor, adjust and maintain chemical injection systems
- Support the maintenance team in maintaining inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts.
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and control troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.
- Create and maintain site documentation, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.
- Consult with shift lead and site management.
- Ensure contract compliance of volume and quality specifications.
- Meet customer access requirements to sites.
- Other duties as required.
- Data interpretation, record keeping reporting and critical decision-making skills.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES (LIST OUT REQUIRED AND PREFERRED SKILLS AS APPLICABLE)
- Knowledge of basic wastewater or water treatment.
- Knowledge of basic computer skills.
- Proficient in Google Suite or related software.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate orally in English in a fluent manner.
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance for pumps, bearings, blowers and general rotating equipment.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Valid driver’s license.
Preferred (if applicable):
- Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation
- Experience working with wastewater treatment technologies.
- A TCEQ Class C Wastewater Operator’s License or higher.
Working Conditions Work is performed primarily indoors in an industrial environment. Schedule is based
on the Dupont schedule (so including nights and weekends on a rotating basis). This site treats a high
level of H2S – training will be provided and mandatory. There are other typical industrial risks and
training will be provided as needed.
