Exciting Opportunity: Join our team as a Substitute Paraeducator in Black Horse Pike Regional School District. No previous experience is required!

The paraprofessional role at BHPRSD offers students valuable support across diverse settings. In this position, you will assist students under the guidance of a certified teacher, whether in the classroom, through one-on-one support, or in job coaching. Our district also has a lead paraprofessional and lead teacher available to help with any questions you may have.

Minimum requirements:
·30 college credits

Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with lead teachers to implement lesson plans and provide additional support to students with diverse learning needs.
· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment where every student feels valued and supported.
· Assist students in understanding and completing assignments, reinforcing classroom instruction while promoting social and emotional development by encouraging positive peer interactions.
Substitute aides may also be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant or education assistant.
