WILL BE REQUIRED TO TRAVEL TO MEXICO FOR TRAINING FOR 4 WEEKS

Pay Rate & Shifts:
Monday to Friday 11:30 -7:00 AM-$16.00/hr

What’s a typical day as a Machine Operator? You’ll be:
• Managing the operation and reviewing the equipment for its proper functioning according to its specification, working method, and programming
• Taking control of the tools and necessary equipment used in the operations
• Verifying finished products against specifications
• Operating machinery effectively
• Conducting code changes
• Solving problems
• Meeting production goals
• Collaborating with machine colleagues
• Filling in time and form documentation applicable to your area and position
• Performing product inspections
• Making material changes
• Making requisitions of labels and material in a timely manner
• Using kiosk for necessary tasks
• Reporting any equipment failure to the Supervisor
• Attending and participating in meetings to analyze the quality of the process
• Participating in special tests for analysis in Validation of the material and/or equipment for transfer or in new projects
• Providing improvement ideas for both the department and the company
• Complying with Overlay training and HPWT meetings

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Have three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Can read, write, and speak English
• Have the ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos, and to write simple correspondence
• Can effectively present information in one-on-one situations and with other teammates of the organization
• Have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Can compute rate, ratio, and percent
• Have the ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
• Have technical knowledge of machines and equipment
• Have knowledge of automated machinery adjustments
• Can use a calculator, tape measures, chantillon, etc.
