Overview:
Our client is a leading Pharmaceuticals company with a strong presence in gastroenterology and women’s health.  They are seeking two Packaging Machine Operators for an immediate start at their Holbrook, MA Manufacturing Facility. This role is a temporary-to-hire position, with potential for permanent hire within 4-6 months. They offer a dynamic, inclusive work environment characterized by open communication, collaborative teamwork, and a high degree of urgency.

Compensation:

  • Hourly Rate: $18 – $19 (depending on experience)

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with optional overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays.

Job Description:
As a Packaging Machine Operator, you will play a vital role in our Manufacturing and Packaging Operations, supporting the production and packaging of high-quality pharmaceutical products in adherence to cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor packaging line machinery and equipment.

  • Load materials such as bottles, cartons, and shippers onto machines.

  • Perform general packaging duties, including building boxes, loading product bottles into cases, and palletizing.

  • Conduct bottle and product inspections, ensuring quality control throughout the packaging process.

  • Track inventory and manage materials using pallet jacks.

  • Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas, ensuring compliance with safety and waste disposal regulations.

  • Develop and demonstrate competency in various departmental skills as required.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred, but 0-2 years of related experience will be considered.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

  • Ability to frequently lift/move materials and objects up to 25 lbs.

  • Availability for overtime as needed.
