About the Role:
Skillswave is seeking a highly motivated Data Entry Operator to join our small, cross-functional team. This is a temporary contract position that offers a unique opportunity to work with Education Partner Managers and consultants, helping to manage and enhance a network of education partners. The role involves working with data, process improvement, and automation while supporting the overall partner portfolio and processes. The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative and innovative environment, with a strong focus on continuous learning.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Data Entry & Catalog Management: Input, maintain, and improve the accuracy of partner data in the program portfolio, ensuring consistency and integrity.
- Data Verification: Review and verify data in the partner portfolio, identifying and correcting any discrepancies.
- Quality Control: Conduct checks to ensure data quality and make necessary updates or corrections.
- Partner Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding of new partners, reviewing workflows and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Education Partner team, providing additional support as needed for special projects and process automation.

- Strong attention to detail and an ability to understand the broader impact of data activities across teams.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a project management mindset.
- Creative approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, SharePoint) and CRM systems (Salesforce or similar) is an asset.
- Proficient with virtual tools such as Microsoft Teams for communication and collaboration.
Skills:
- Data entry and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Education Recommendations:
- University or college program in Business, Administration, or a related field.
Location:
- Remote position based in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. Occasional visits to the office may be required for training or equipment pick-up. Own transportation required.
Equipment:
- A company-issued Dell laptop will be provided for use during the contract period. The laptop is for work purposes only. Candidates must have high-speed internet access.
Additional Information:
- Security clearance will be required as part of the onboarding process.
- All applicants will undergo a data entry skills assessment. Successful candidates will be those who achieve an intermediate score, demonstrating good speed and attention to detail.
