Kelly Engineering is seeking Automation Technicians to join our client, a leading global manufacturing company, on a contract basis with the potential for extension or full-time conversion based on performance and business needs. Our client specializes in high-tech manufacturing solutions for multiple industries, providing an opportunity to work in an innovative and fast-paced environment.
Hourly Rate: $28-$35+ (based on experience and shift selection)
Shift Options:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
We need candidates who can start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain 400V industrial electrical and electronic equipment.
- Support equipment installations, start-ups, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Calibrate, configure, and program PLCs and industrial process instrumentation.
- Interpret and apply schematics, piping, and instrumentation diagrams.
- Mentor junior electricians on equipment operations and safety practices.
Qualifications:
- Experience with PLCs, motor controls, instrumentation, pneumatics, and power distribution.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- High-voltage experience is highly desired.
