Kelly Services is seeking qualified 1st & 2nd shift candidates for an Electronic Medical Device Assembly role! This is a unique, temp to hire opportunity, for one of our clients in Bothell, WA., manufacturing cutting edge medical devices! Two years of assembly experience in an electro-mechanical or high-volume manufacturing environment preferred.

Pay:
- 1st shift – $22 per hour
- 2nd shift – $24 per hour
Shifts:
- 1st shift - Monday thru Friday - 6am until 2:30pm.
- 2nd shift – Monday thru Friday – 2:30pm until 11pm.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:
- High School Diploma required; some College preferred.
- Two years of assembly experience in an electro-mechanical or high-volume manufacturing environment is required.
- Experience working within a rigorous, quality control environment such as FDA cGMP/QSR or ISO is a plus.
- Must have the ability to do repetitive work and lift 35 pounds.
- Must possess good manual dexterity and eyesight.
- Ability to work using a microscope is required.
- Perform and verify line clearance in each workstation as required,
- Work as part of the Manufacturing team to meet Production goals.
- Complete repetitive wiring and electrical component assembly tasks of precision assemblies.
- Complete electro-mechanical assembly of precision components and assemblies with a focus on safety.
- Assembly tasks may entail the use of a variety of adhesives.
- Tasks may require use of Electrostatic Dissipation devices (straps). Tasks require careful handling techniques to prevent damage to product. Some of these tasks require the use of a microscope.
- Electrical programming and testing operations utilizing various test fixtures and results, yield information and other data as required onto traveler documents of other data collection devices.
- Plastics assembly with UV curing adhesives.
- Recording of lot control, inspection results, test results, yield information and other data as required onto traveler documents of other data collection devices.
- Must be detail-oriented with good record keeping in accordance with FDA manufacturing Practice (GMP) and Medicals’ SOP.
- The ability to recognize deviations from accepted practice and quality standards and make recommendations to correct them is expected.
- The ability to communicate proficiently in English verbally and in writing is required as well as being able to understand and follow company procedures and complex work instructions in writing or when conveyed verbally.
- Basic math skills, plus ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
- Employees are regularly required to perform light material handling tasks involving lifting weights of up to 35 pounds for short durations. This position will involve sitting for extended periods of time, up to and sometimes beyond 8 hours a day. Duties also may involve keyboard data entry. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and utilization of microscopes and other vision aids.
- Ability to work effectively with general supervision and instruction given for routine work, and detailed instruction given on new activities or special assignments.
- Basic understanding of Lean tools
