At Kelly® Professional & Industrial, we’re seeking Assembly Technicians to join our innovative manufacturing team in Sodus, NY. With us, it’s all about providing the perfect opportunity for your career to flourish!

Pay: $18-25/hr. (Depending on experience).
Day Shift: 7am to 3:30pm, Mon-Fri. Temp to hire. 

What does a typical day look like for this position? You’ll be…

  • Hand soldering wires, terminals, and Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs) following blueprints and parts lists.

  • Using a variety of hand tools, including electric and air-operated tools, for production assembly work.

  • Building PC boards per blueprints and parts lists, ensuring precision and quality.

  • Conducting through-hole and surface mount repair, rework, and touch-ups.

  • Identifying PCB impairments and making necessary corrections to ensure quality standards are met.

  • Performing job setup tasks as required and maintaining adherence to all ESD working environment provisions.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you…

  • Have a High School Diploma or GED and 6 months to a year of related experience and/or training.

  • Possess experience in through-hole and surface mount assembly.

  • Are proficient in blueprint reading.

  • Hold IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronics Assemblies certification.

  • Desired certifications include IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-610, IPC-7711-7721.
