Pay: $16.00/hour
Shift:  6:00am to 2:30pm M-F
Temporary positions for about 6 weeks, possibly longer

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:
• Receiving and stocking product, including repackaging.
• Performing tank readings, customer pick-ups, and LTL shipments.
• Restocking warehouse/driver supplies.
• Loading, filling, and labeling drums, kegs, pails, and other containers from bulk.
• Placing containers on pallets for transport or stock.
• Picking and staging products for delivery trucks according to the delivery schedule.
• Loading and properly securing products in delivery trucks.
• Unloading delivery trucks and storing products in appropriate areas.
• Completing and submitting accurate records of products received and/or filled.
• Operating forklifts (stand up and sit down), hand trucks, pallets, and electric jacks as needed.
• Assisting in tracking returned drum inventory.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse area.
• Completing accurate inventory of products as needed.
• Adhering to all company policies and procedures, especially health and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a flexible work schedule, including irregular hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Interacting positively with customers in all segments of the business.
• Acting in a professional manner at all times.
 
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Have excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Have experience operating a sit down and stand up forklift
• Can perform with minimal or no supervision.
• Are able to climb, bend, and stand for extended periods of time.
• Have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Have a valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
• Have experience working in an ERP environment (desirable).
