12 Month + contract (Possible DH after contract)
Hourly 40hr – 55hr+
Must work W/O Sponsorship

  •  Will work in a supervised environment to improve product and process quality at the Havre de Grace site. 

  • The main objective of this contract employee is project leadership for a Key Quality Project at the Havre de Grace, MD site to update and create Process Control Documents (or equivalent).

  • This project will  improve Customer Satisfaction levels, reduce cost of poor quality and minimize quality risks that could result in lost revenue, high consequence quality escapes or negative impact to company’s reputation. 

  • The incumbent may also lead RCCA investigations, conduct quality audits and provide Quality Engineering support as assigned. 

  • The incumbent will: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic quality project to update or create Process Control Documents

  • Lead a cross functional team to manage the assigned project

  • Have experience with Process Control Documents used in the Aerospace industry

  • Communicate project status, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders including customers ensuring transparency and alignment

  • Develop project plans, track progress, and adjust as necessary to meet deadlines and resources constraints.

  • Collaborate with site leadership and Global Quality to identify and address improvement opportunities as related to the assigned project

  • Actively lead and participate in quality risk assessments and audits in preparation of customer audits of PCDs. 

  • Ensure corrective actions are timely, robust and effective resolution of findings,

  • Update or facilitate updates to work instructions and support site system changes as related to Process Control Documents,

  • Collaborate with Customer and GBU personnel to assess and manage changes that could negatively impact quality risk levels; demonstrate a Quality as a Value mindset & behavior,

  • Position will handle ITAR and NIST controlled documentation along with Customer proprietary information.

  • Education BS in Engineering.

  • 5 years minimum working knowledge as a Project management
