R&D Compounder – Pacoima, CA
 
Job Summary
The Compounder works closely with R&D Chemists to support the department’s activities, including the accurate formulation of products and timely completion of customer samples. This role ensures compliance with GMP, safety guidelines, and company policies while contributing to a positive and efficient work environment.
 
Details:
Pay: $21 – $23/hr
Shift: Mon – Fri 8am – 4:30pm
Duration: Temp – to-hire (Roughly 6mo conversion)
 
Responsibilities

  • Accurately compound products, including juice concentrates and flavors, based on specific formulas and requirements.

  • Perform quality control analysis and required tests on compounded products.

  • Assist with the preparation and packing of stock samples.

  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring sufficient stock of lab materials.

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.

  • Contribute to the efficiency and profitability of the R&D department.

  • Report to the R&D Manager and follow instructions from R&D Chemists.

  • Perform additional duties and special projects as required.

 
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma; post-secondary education is a plus.

  • Some manufacturing experience preferred

  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

  • Math skills, including the ability to perform conversions and basic Algebra.

  • Flexibility to work at different company locations as needed.
