Location: Bolingbrook, IL (Hybrid Schedule)
Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (Open to higher based on experience) + uncapped commissions
Duration: Direct hire, permanent role

Position Overview:
Kelly Services is seeking a results-oriented New Business Development Manager with a hunter mentality to join our team. This role will focus on driving new business development for our in-house brokerage while also expanding our retail LTL consolidation sector. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in brokerage sales, particularly with experience in retail, and have a proven track record of establishing and nurturing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead sales efforts and coordinate new business development initiatives.

  • Collaborate internally with operations and pricing teams to optimize proposals.

  • Develop and execute action plans to identify and secure new business opportunities.

  • Understand industry challenges and tailor solutions that align with revenue growth goals.

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their pain points with effective strategies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years in brokerage OR LTL sales, with a strong focus on new business development.

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

  • Industry Knowledge: Experience in LTL or brokerage sales, with retail experience being a significant plus.

  • Relationship Management: Existing book of business and prior connections are highly valued.

  • Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Salesforce and related tools.

  • Mindset: A proactive, entrepreneurial approach with a commitment to transparency, accountability, and ethical practices.
