Job Title: Production Worker
Location: Rochester, NY (near East Ave Wegmans)
Shift Hours:
- A Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM – Monday-Friday
Pay: $17/hr+
Job Type: Full-Time
Description: We are looking for dedicated and reliable Production Workers to join our dynamic team. As a Production Worker, you will be integral to our manufacturing operations, handling essential tasks that ensure the production process runs smoothly and efficiently. Your role will involve various responsibilities, from machine operation to quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Loading Materials: Accurately load materials into machines according to production schedules and specifications.
- Operating Machines: Safely and efficiently operate machinery used in the production process, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Moving Products: Transport and organize products throughout the facility to maintain workflow and support other team members.
- Making Boxes: Assemble boxes and other packaging materials required for finished products.
- Packaging: Package finished products, ensuring they are correctly labeled and prepared for distribution.
- Quality Checking: Inspect products for defects and adherence to quality standards, making adjustments or reporting issues as necessary.
Requirements:
- Overtime Flexibility: Must be available to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving materials.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
- Machine Operation Skills: Experience operating industrial machinery is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided.
- Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicating clearly and collaborating to achieve production goals.
- Reliability: Punctuality and a strong work ethic are essential to maintain smooth operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures in an industrial setting.
