Job Posting: Shipping/Receiving Worker – Logistics Specialist
Position Overview
Join our team as a Shipping/Receiving Worker – Logistics Specialist, where you’ll handle essential shipping and receiving activities, maintain accurate documentation, and support various logistics tasks. This is a contract-to-hire role with a pay range of $20.00 – $23.08 per hour, typically in the midpoint of the range, based on experience.
Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include:

Shipping and Receiving
- Prepare receiving folders, including Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and other necessary documents.
- Enter data systematically into NAV (ERP) for accurate inventory tracking.
- Unload, load, and inspect incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Identify, label, organize, and store products accurately.
- Prepare receiving folders, including Certificates of Analysis (CoA) and other necessary documents.

Documentation and Communication
- Distribute and file documents within internal departments and with staff.
- Communicate effectively via written, verbal, and electronic channels with various departments.
- Prepare Full Truckload (FTL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and small package shipments as needed.
- Maintain transportation logs for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Organize and file all shipping-related documents accurately.
- Distribute and file documents within internal departments and with staff.

Compliance and Safety
- Follow all warehouse policies and procedures.
- Identify and process non-conforming materials, report damages, and manage spillages, including potential product discarding if required.

Position Details
- Pay: $20.00 – $23.08 per hour (based on experience)
- Schedule: Non-exempt, with eligibility for overtime
- Type: Contract-to-hire (potential to be hired as an employee post-contract period)
Qualifications
- Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team and maintain a professional demeanor.
