Direct Hire Opportunity! Now hiring for a 3rd shift Maintenance Supervisor for our premier manufacturing client in Tulsa, OK!

Pay: $85k-$88k
Hours: 8pm-6:30am, Sun-Th
Location: Tulsa, OK 74107
Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Summary: Supervise a team of technicians who execute preventative and ongoing maintenance of production equipment and machinery

Job Responsibilities

  • Schedules employees for the department; trains, coaches, disciplines, and supervises maintenance staff to meet production schedules

  • Monitors daily issue reports to establish efficient repair and maintenance schedules; inspects damaged equipment or machines to estimate cost of repair and time required for repairs.

  • Establishes priority of maintenance and repairs based on availability of materials and parts and requirements of scheduled operations.

  • Supervises, controls, and monitors inventory; examines worn or damaged parts and makes recommendations for repair/replacement to management

  • Communicates with all functional areas of the organization, including vendors and/or customers as required

  • Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures.

  • Coaches employees and evaluates individual abilities in order to make decisions on retention of new hires and/or transfers

  • Maintains a clean and well-organized work area; ensures that property, grounds, and facilities are clean and well organized.

  • Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.

  • Maintains confidentiality of all matters.

  • Identifies and promotes continuous improvement projects targeting quality, safety, and productivity

  • Other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred, in related field

  • 4+ years of relevant maintenance experience (experience in oil and gas industry preferred)

  • Proven excellence in a supervisory role

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational and time management skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Good analytical skills

  • Ability to stand and move around the floor for majority of the work day
