Kelly Science and Clinical is currently seeking candidates for a Chemical Lab Technician position at the Research and Development facility of a specialty chemical company in Tomball, TX. The overall responsibility of the position is to perform sample analyses for the R&D of petrochemicals and chemical additives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate analyses under the direction of researcher
- Follow established standard operating procedures accurately
- Maintain consistent and accurate documentation of results
- Perform in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Identify problems and inform management
- Meet productivity and quality goals
- Embrace safety and environmental policies / procedures
Qualifications:
- Associates degree in Chemistry or an applicable field of science
- BS degree in Chemistry or related discipline is preferred
- Lab experience performing chemistry related testing
- Experience with the testing of petrochemicals would be plus
- Compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies
- Excellent computer and communication skills
