Kelly Science is seeking an In-House Plant Manager for a growing company located in Hauppauge, NY.
** This position would start in transition from Hauppauge, NY to Middletown, NY after approximately 1 year **
Salary: $95,000/year
Employment type: Full Time; Direct Hire
Summary: As the In-House Plant Manager, you will be responsible for being the liaison between the company and the customers with primary focus being on providing world class support from within the In-House Team.
Job Duties Include:
- Develop and maintain supplier-customer relationships
- Develop, maintain and sustain a daily safety regimen
- Maintain the liquid ink inventory
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures, training programs and audit processes for sustainability
- Conduct process audits to monitor and develop continuous improvement initiatives
- Develop/maintain KPIs designed to drive change
- Support the ink technician and aid when needed
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- 5+ years of experience with Flexo ink production management
- 5+ years of experience with color matching and blending procedures experience
- Ability to interact with all levels of staff and take initiative in the workplace
- Ability to speak fluent Spanish and English strongly preferred.
