Job details

Full time direct hire in Northville, MI for an experienced Automotive Project Manager. Must be bi-lingual in Korean.
Bachelor’s degree required – preferably Mechanical Engineering
Salary range up to $130k – will be based off experience
This position will require travel overseas.

PURPOSE
Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in adherence to quality standards.

SUMMARY
The role involves a range of responsibilities aimed at coordinating resources, managing timelines, and ensuring the quality and efficiency of the engineering projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop plans, timelines, and budgets.

  • Coordinate resources and monitor progress.

  • Provide guidance throughout the project.

  • Collaborate on specifications and troubleshoot issues.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Proactively address issues affecting timelines or budgets.

  • Maintain accurate project documentation.

  • Prepare reports for stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements and expectations.

  • Ensure that the final project meets or exceeds client expectations.

  • Coordinate with New Development China, timelines, milestones.

  • International travel to Korea

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor s degree in engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role.

  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in project management tools and software.

  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

  • Bi-lingual in Korean
