Job Description:
In this role, you will set up, operate, and maintain laboratory instruments while monitoring experiments and recording results. You will be responsible for conducting analyses using various techniques and developing conclusions based on your findings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain laboratory instruments such as HPLC (High Performance Liquid Chromatography) and Gas Chromatography (GC).
- Perform moisture/water content measurements (MOWACO) and titration (TITRAB and TITR) analyses.
- Conduct wet chemistry procedures and other laboratory tests.
- Record experimental observations, calculate results, and maintain accurate laboratory notebooks.
- Follow written instructions and ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, FDA, RCRA, and OSHA standards.
- Communicate findings effectively and utilize computer skills for data entry and analysis.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in basic laboratory techniques including MOWACO, TITRAB, TITR, WECHOT, HPLC, and GC, preferably but not required.
- Basic computer skills, with experience in Excel and SAP.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow written instructions and maintain accurate records.
Education:
- Associates/bachelor’s degree in chemistry, biology or related field
Preferred but not required skills:
- Experience with laboratory instrumentation and analytical methods.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations (GMP, GLP, FDA, RCRA, OSHA) may be required.
