Manufacturing Planner
• Location: Mahwah, NJ (Hybrid)
• Type: W2 contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
• Length: until 08/2025 (Contract extension expectation)
• Pay Rate – $35 – $40 hourly
• Work Authorization – Must be able to work in the U.S. with approved authorization status.

A strong candidate will also have:
•    Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years of equivalent experience
•    2+ years of planning experience
•    Demonstrated understanding of the extended process of material procurement, supplier capacity planning, inventory analysis, and advanced planning techniques
•    Demonstrated understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools and Material Requirement Planning (MRP) structure, process, and outputs -preferred

What You’ll Do:
•    You will perform tactical planning functions with responsibility for the planning, scheduling and monitoring inbound movement of materials from suppliers.
•    You will determine material requirements and coordinate the efficient movement of materials management and supply of externally sourced production materials (raw material, finished goods, MRO, launch and prototype materials) for the Supplier Operations team.
•    Handle all tactical planning responsibilities associated with internal/external supply chain partners to maintain a high level of customer service
•    Manage material procurement, supplier capacity planning, inventory management, demand analysis, and vendor managed inventory processes
•    Analyze potential impact of forecast and production schedule changes on component procurement and production volume
•    Work directly with suppliers to gain an understanding of their internal planning system and how their processes affect/interact with material and capacity requirements
•    Work closely with Demand Planner to allow generation of a valid production plan
•    Assist other team members as needed to ensure customer needs are met
•    Review data for accuracy and analyze the information in support of supplier agreements
•    Participate and provide input to supplier score card reviews to achieve agreed upon OTD (on time delivery) and cost saving targets
