Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Assistant for a temp-to-hire position with one of industry partners in the Twin Cities area. DETAILS
- Job Type: temp-to-hire (estimated contract length 6-12 months before conversion), full time hours
- Schedule: Mon-Friday 8am-4pm, occasional weekend/holiday work may be required on a rotating basis – infrequent
- Pay Rate: $19-22/hour, depending on relevant cell culture/GLP/GDP experience
- Location: Eagan, MN
SUMMARY
Conduct laboratory assays using cell culture and media preparation techniques.
DUTIES
– Support in vitro activities, including aseptic techniques, microscopy, and reagent preparation.
– Perform assays and maintain documentation.
– Organize supplies and manage shipments.
– Clean and monitor equipment daily.
– Follow procedures and recognize deviations.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve departmental goals.
– Adhere to regulations and Good Laboratory Practices.
– Flexible to work weekends and overtime as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
– Education: Associates or Bachelors Degree in a STEM-related major
– No experience required for entry level ($19-20/hour)
– Cell culture and GLP/GMP/GDP experience is required to be considered at a higher pay rate ($21-22/hour)
– Strong communication skills in English.
– Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
