Job Description:
Kelly Services is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Production Assistant to join the dynamic team for one of our clients. In this role, you will help fulfill custom-made orders, including heat-pressing logos and words on bags, candle making, letter cutting, stamping and assisting with many other handcrafted goods.
Position: Production Assistant
Location: Largo, FL
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (through Kelly Services); Will begin as part-time the first few weeks and then transition to full-time once the holiday season begins.
Pay: $18/hr
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Key Responsibilities:
-Assist in the production of custom items, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
-Operate heat press and other production equipment safely and effectively.
-Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
-Maintain an organized workspace and keep inventory of materials.
-Pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy in custom orders.
-Contribute creatively to problem-solving and product design ideas.
-Manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude.
-Adhere to tight deadlines while maintaining the quality of work.
Qualifications:
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
-Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
-Enjoys working with hands and has an artsy side.
-Previous experience in a production or crafting role is a plus.
-Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
-Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to learn new techniques.
