Position: Quality Technician
Type: Contract to Hire
Location: Tempe, AZ (ONSITE position)
Hourly Pay: $18-$22/hr. (Based on Experience)
Summary
Kelly Engineering is seeking a qualified Quality Technician for our client in Tempe, AZ for a contract to hire role.
Our client has an exciting opportunity due to company growth for a self-motivated, results-oriented, Quality Technician to perform various quality documentation and review functions.
Responsibilities
- Performing quality reviews of documentation for compliance with stated requirements, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records.
- Completing customer required documentation.
- Taking photos of completed assemblies.
- Assisting in investigations of customer complaints regarding quality.
- Preparing first article reports in accordance with AS9102 requirements.
- Participating in internal audits.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of relevant Quality experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, blueprints, schematics and other documentation as necessary.
- Strong communication skills
- Must be willing and able to work overtime as required.
- Must be a United States citizen or possess a permanent right to work visa (green card).
Work Environment
The work environment is typical of a manufacturing setting where hazardous materials may be present. Security investigations may be conducted to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information and/or work areas. The interviewing process includes completing an employment application and consent form to obtain background information. All offers of employment are contingent upon a successful background check and drug screen. Our client is an ITAR controlled company.
