Pay: $50-52/hour
Overview
Our client is an industry leader at the forefront of cellular therapies and advanced biomanufacturing. In this role, you will work in a cross-functional team to develop, optimize, and analyze cell-based assays, advancing gene- and cell-therapy products through scientific discovery.
Schedule: Mon-Fri Day shift
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize cell-based assays for screening and characterization of cell states.
- Use advanced techniques like high-dimensional flow cytometry, confocal microscopy, and multiplexed immunoassays to explore cellular phenotypes.
- Collaborate with molecular biologists, bioinformaticians, and automation engineers to drive project goals.
- Stay up to date with advancements in cell biology and incorporate new methodologies.
- Contribute to scientific publications, patents, and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications
- B.S. with 5 years of experience, or M.Sc. with 3 years of experience, or PhD in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Strong background in cellular and molecular biology, including cell viability and immunological readouts.
- Experience culturing primary cells and cell lines, with specific expertise in CAR T cell culture.
- Expertise in working with ELISAs and cell processing techniques, including genetic modification and cryopreservation.
