Experienced Machine Maintenance Technicians Needed!
Pay Rate: $24-26 DOE
- 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 5 PM
- 3rd shift: 9 PM – 7 AM
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Preventative Maintenance:
- Operate and test systems and equipment to ensure ongoing function and reliability.
- Restore, repair, rebuild, and replace faulty or inoperative components and parts.
- Manage inventory of new and used spare parts by analyzing experience/failures and anticipating future needs.

- Inspect and Maintain:
- Inspect the overall physical condition of the warehouse, plant, and equipment.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of maintenance area and all operational facilities.
- Perform grounds maintenance.

- Safety Compliance:
- Strict adherence to Safety Policies and Procedures, following OSHA, FSMA, and other government regulations.

- Team Collaboration:
- Intermittent Saturday & Sunday shifts with other Maintenance team members.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- A minimum of three years’ maintenance experience and/or training in a plant environment; feed/food manufacturing experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, air systems, and flow processes desired; welding skills desired.
- Strong problem-solving and analysis skills; able to interpret documents such as safety procedures, equipment manuals, and standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Good verbal and written communication skills; ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Physical Requirements:
- Periods of working on feet, walking, bending, stretching, lifting, climbing, and performing repetitive actions.
- Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds in a heavy manufacturing environment.
- Manual dexterity needed to manipulate and operate machinery and equipment.
- Visual acuity needed to inspect machinery.
- Must be able to work in indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, heights (regular climbing of ladders and sometimes up to 150 feet), loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Intermittent periods working on a computer.
HSD or GED is required.
