  • Direct hire opportunity

  • $20-22/hr, but can be flexible depending on experience

  • Full time, Monday-Friday

Summary

The Marketing Assistant is the primary steward of the online user experience for customers who order materials online. In addition to ensuring all online operations are running smoothly, this person also supports and assists the marketing department with the creation of communication materials while also ensuring product descriptions and supportive materials are accurately maintained online.

  • Serve as the point person for Storefront login requests and set-up.

  • Support the collection of information for the product promotions created within the department. This may include photos, video, manufacturer materials and Internet results.

  • Maintain Storefront operation, recommend changes and periodically test functions.

  • Monitor and continue communications regarding tickets opened with Service providers regarding the online store operation. Report these communications to the appropriate teams.

  • Monitor and implement new and deleted item details to keep the online store current and in step with product releases and changes.

  • Populate product descriptions with content, linked files and videos within Storefront.

  • Pull reports from Storefront, CRM and Google Analytics to illustrate trends and opportunities. Report these regularly to the Marketing Director.

  • Occasionally assist with the layout and design of key promotions, including some print.

  • Occasionally assist Marketing Coordinator with the distribution of sales materials.

 

Qualifications

  • Communication proficiency including excellent customer interaction skills.

  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills both physically and digitally.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and content management systems for the web.

  • Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, CRM tools and Organizational Tools.

  • Basic HTML knowledge as it relates to online page graphics and assembly.
