Duration: Approximately 3 months
Pay: Up to $35/hour (based on experience)
Hybrid work schedule: 2 days work from home, 3 days in office

What’s a typical day as a Corporate Communications Director? You’ll be:
• Identifying and capitalizing on opportunities to promote and positively represent the organization through internal communication.
• Participating in the design and execution of the companywide communication strategy.
• Preparing, developing, and implementing crisis communications.
• Maintaining and owning all communication channels and platforms.
• Building strong relationships with all levels of the organization when evaluating communication needs.
• Developing content and initiating editorial development.
• Elevating various business units through celebratory weeks and events.
• Actively participating in functional leadership meetings.
• Seeking to have a deep understanding of the communications preferences for each business unit’s employees.
• Participating in special project teams.

This job might be an outstanding fit if you have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related fields.
• 7+ years’ progressive experience in communications, aviation, change management, or equivalent.
• Advanced ability to listen, analyze, interpret, and strategize.
• Experience supporting all levels of leadership.
• Superior verbal, written, and editing skills with a passion for storytelling.
• Excellent writing and grammatical skills.
• Ability to think creatively and adapt to difficult questions and issues.
