Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
$46.00 per hour.

What’s a typical day as a Claims Examiner – Workers Compensation? You’ll be:
• Analyzing and processing complex workers’ compensation claims by investigating and gathering information to determine claim exposure; managing claims through well-developed action plans to ensure timely resolution.
• Negotiating settlements of claims within your designated authority and calculating timely reserves throughout the claim lifecycle.
• Managing the litigation process and ensuring timely and cost-effective claims resolution while maintaining professional relationships with clients and claimants.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) and at least five (5) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Possess strong analytical and interpretive skills, along with excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation abilities.
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office products and have strong organizational and negotiation skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
