Job details
Job Title: Digital Press Operator
Location: Rochester, NY
Pay Rate: $21.00 – $28.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate casing-in devices.
- Ensure all orders are produced within specified production time frames.
- Maintain high production quantities without sacrificing quality.
- Perform maintenance functions and minor repairs on equipment.
- Keep machines and work areas organized and clean.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to execute daily plans.
- Train other operators as needed.
- Take on additional equipment responsibilities as required.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills:
- Proficient in operating manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to distinguish product quality.
- Capable of working at a fast pace.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Physical dexterity and ability to read instructions.
- Excellent time management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Mechanically savvy.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced manufacturing operator role.
- Experience in print manufacturing operations is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
