Grant Operations and Administrative Assistant
Location: Troy, MI

Salary: $50K-55K
Schedule: Full Time, Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm Onsite

Position Overview:?
Kelly Services has partnered a leader in digital transformation. Our client supports manufacturing and technology companies through data-driven solutions, collaborative initiatives, and resource-sharing. Employees have the opportunity to work closely with industry leaders, participate in cutting-edge projects, and contribute to economic growth by fostering business development and technological advancement. This role will serve as the first point of contact at our receptionist desk, greeting guests and creating a welcoming environment. In addition, this position will play a crucial support role within the Grant Operations Team, assisting program managers with federal and state-funded programs.

Responsibilities:?

  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately

  • Manage scheduling of six (6) conference rooms for internal staff and member companies

  • Daily kitchenette and conference rooms maintenance

  • Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls

  • Receiving and sorting daily mail.

  • Assist with operational logistics for events, member events, and staff coverage.

  • Assist internal staff and member companies with food that is brought in during the day.

  • Track kitchen supply inventory and maintain office supply inventory.

  • Assist program managers with grant metric tracking and grant reporting tasks.

  • Respond to member and partner requests for grant support.

  • Manage tactical projects in support of grant program managers.

Qualifications and Requirements:?

  • Proficient in all internal software, including Trello, Zoho (or similar CRM application), and Microsoft Office. Able to do light data analytics of internal and ecosystem data.

  • Strong in Microsoft 365 apps, such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint

  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills

  • Collaborative worker and team-building ability

  • Problem solving skills and ability to learn
