As a Field Service Technician, you’ll be on the front lines providing commissioning, operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for customers in a variety of locations. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, clarification, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), and ultrafiltration (UF). Ideal candidate will have: 1+ years experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician/Mechanic along with the passion for travel

About the role:
Essential Project Installation/Commissioning/REHAB Responsibilities

  • Safely and successfully provide technical direction and inspections for rebuild projects and extended scope projects, including ABW, Accelator Clarifiers, Greenleaf Filters, Climber Screens, media filtration, softening, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, ultrafiltration and other technologies as required, primarily in North America.

  • Verify installation is as per drawings.

  • Commission equipment: this includes mixers, valves, air compressors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation.

  • Assist client with installing filter media. 

  • Complete detailed controls testing to ensure the system is functioning as per design. 

  • Assist client with initial plant operation.

  • Train client operators on plant operation.

  • Meet with internal and external contributors to communicate schedule and address issues as necessary.

  • Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance

  • Install/Replace and/or supervise the replacement of proposed equipment.

  • Install, Monitor, maintain and calibrate chemical injection systems

  • Carry out process mechanical troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation

  • Create and maintain site paperwork and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed.

  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance or equivalent in an industrial environment 

  • Technical Degree in Science/Engineering or technical certificate.

  • Water/Wastewater Treatment Experience beneficial but not necessary

  • Ability to travel extensively

  • Ability to gain and maintain access to sites as assigned

  • Valid Driver’s License
