Job searching is a lot better with someone in your corner. Kelly® Professional & Industrial is seeking a HR Assistant to work at a premiere company in Jacksonville, FL.

Responsibilities:
HR Assistant with perform a variety of administrative tasks to support the HR Department.  Will work with sensitive employee information, such as personal details, salary information, performance evaluations, and must take steps to ensure confidentiality is maintained. The salary for this position is $23.00/hr  

  • Track associates from initial resume submission to start of contract  

  • Onboarding: Coordinating orientation and training sessions for new employees, badge activation

  • Maintain roster and turnover report

  • Employee records: Maintaining employee databases and records, including holiday and sick leave

  • Payroll: Assisting with payroll processing and documentation

  • Assist formulating policies and procedures and communicating updates to employees via bulletin board and electronically

  • Support HR-related events and meetings

  • Assisting with benefits enrollment

  • Post internal open positions

  • Employee relations including responding to policies, procedures, programs, and conducting employee surveys

  • Ensure FMLA and LOA requests are managed properly and in a timely manner

  • Assist with drafting employee newsletters

  • Payroll Duties

    • Monitors Bullhorn/PeopleNet time keeping system

    • Run payroll reports

    • Prepare PTO on a weekly basis

    • Ensure associates are qualified for holiday pay prior to submission


  • Training Duties

        • Arrange new hire start dates and schedule orientation

        • Conduct New Hire Orientation

        • Demonstrate use of time clock and retrieval of pay stubs and how to access training data base to new hires

  • Familiar with federal and state laws, rules, and regulations

  • Payroll experience
