Pay rate: starting at $17/hr
Shift: 1st (7am-3:30pm)

What’s a typical day as a Quality Control Inspector? You’ll be:
• Verifying process parameters of check sheets after the operator has completed them
• Performing inspections of parts involving check fixtures
• Conducting inspections of spot welds, GMAW welds, and Laser welds
• Providing feedback on all acceptable finished goods and quarantining problematic finished goods for QA analysis
• Notifying management immediately when any quality issue or test result falls outside of documented requirements
• Addressing day-to-day quality issues through resolution
• Assisting with special projects as assigned, both independently and within a team
• Working closely with the shop floor to advise on quality expectations
• Providing other assistance to Quality Plant Management as requested
• Performing other duties as assigned

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have the ability to use a computer
• Have inspection and/or production experience
• Can lift and/or move up to 40 pounds occasionally
• Can follow written instructions and perform detailed and accurate work
• Are able to use standard measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, and scales
• Have specific vision abilities required for close vision and the ability to adjust focus
• Can use a computer to record the results of checks
• Have demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Possess excellent organizational skills
• Have the ability to analyze and interpret information
• Are a self-starter and/or team player with strong verbal, written, and communication skills
• Maintain a courteous and professional manner when interacting with all employees or during conflict resolution
• Have solid technology skills with the ability to utilize and learn various types of technology
• Are a quick learner with a can-do attitude
• Are a strategic and proactive thinker with the ability to work in a growth-oriented organization
• Have strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations while demonstrating poise, tact, and diplomacy
• Possess strong integrity and the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Can thrive in a fast-paced environment

Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of computers and computer-based equipment
• Knowledge of basic quality control
• Skills in using basic measuring devices
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Physical ability to perform teardown
