Title Administrator
Location: Southfield, MI
Shift: Full-Time (7:00am – 3:30pm)
Compensation: $19 /hour
Temp-to-Hire
 
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Title Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will manage and process titles from State DMVs and dealers, ensuring accuracy and compliance. This role requires handling a high volume of paperwork, excellent multitasking abilities, and strong communication skills. The ideal candidate will support our Titles team and operate with discretion when handling sensitive information.
 
Responsibilities:

  • Accurately document receipt of titles and file and store titles upon receipt from State DMVs or Dealers.

  • Identify errors on titles and escalate when appropriate.

  • Process a high volume of paperwork.

  • Mail completed title paperwork. 

  • Support the Titles team with miscellaneous administrative tasks as needed/requested.

Timely respond and process title related paperwork received via email, mail and fax.

  • Accurately enter title information into applicable system(s).

  • Accurately store and organize physical titles in the title room.

  • Pull titles requested by internal departments and provide to Title Specialists for proper distribution.

  • Process and mail title paperwork.

  • Remain compliant with our policies, processes and legal guidelines.

  • Support the Remarketing process by processing Title requests to obtain titles and mail paperwork to auctions.

  • Adhere to attendance as outlined in the department attendance policy.

  • This position works onsite based on the business need.

 
 Requirements:

  • High school diploma

  • Experience efficiently and accurately completing forms and/or data entry.

  • Able to operate office equipment (copy machines, fax, telephone and keyboard)

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel)

  • Experience in the finance or automotive industry

  • Experience with vehicle titles.

  • Previous customer service experience
