Job Description: Forklift Operator – Raw Material Warehouse
Role Overview: The Forklift Operator in the Raw Material Warehouse plays a crucial role in ensuring that production lines run efficiently and without interruption. Your main duties include the timely tracking, restocking, and delivery of parts to the primary line, as well as assisting other line personnel and drivers as necessary.
Pay Rates Forklift/Clamp Operator- $17.00-$17.51
Hours:
Forklift Driver I 6:00 am – 6:00 pm Monday – Thursday $17.00
Forklift Driver II 6:00 pm – 6:00 am Sunday – Wednesday $17.51
Key Responsibilities:
- Timely Tracking & Delivery: Ensure prompt tracking, restocking, and delivery of parts to the primary line.
- Assistance: Assist line personnel and drivers as needed.
- Quality Adherence: Comply with stringent quality and production standards as per ISO 9001:2000 and Company procedures.
- Versatility: Willingness to perform other duties as needed to support warehouse operations.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required for full-time employees.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy items daily.
- Skills:
- Operation of Janus guns
- Basic computer skills
- Operation of Janus guns
- Team Orientation: Strong team orientation and good attendance record.
- Experience: Some knowledge of inventory control is highly desirable.
- Certification: Must be a certified forklift operator.
