  • 1st shift (07:00 AM to 07:00 PM)

  • 2nd shift (07:00 PM to 07:00 AM)

Kelly Services is seeking Process Operators in Franklin, MA. Manufacturing or Warehouse experience required

Process Operator
Pay: $23/hour + $1.25 shift differential
Shifts: 12-hour shifts (7pm–7am or 7am–7pm)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to set up and operate machinery, ensuring smooth production and high-quality output. The ideal candidate will have experience operating coating, slitting, metalizing, or sheeting machines and will be comfortable working with heavy materials in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate coating, slitting, metalizing, or sheeting machines.

  • Load paper rolls onto machines and set up according to tolerance specifications.

  • Monitor machine adjustments to ensure smooth operation.

  • Use overhead hoists, trucks, and dollies to transport materials.

  • Follow production schedules, work orders, specification sheets, and checklists to meet production targets and quality standards.

  • Inspect product quality throughout the production process.

  • Monitor equipment and process control devices to ensure proper functionality.

  • Perform tests to ensure products meet established specifications.

  • Identify and report malfunctions or unusual conditions to the Supervisor.

  • Assist in troubleshooting and correcting issues as they arise.

  • Clean machines and maintain a tidy work area according to safety and operational guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Forklift operation experience preferred.

  • Ability to read and comprehend English, including safety policies, product specifications, and process documentation.

  • Strong basic math skills, including the ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and work with decimals and fractions.

  • Proficient in using charts, drawings, and specification sheets to plan and perform machine setups.

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

  • Familiarity with 5S practices preferred.

  • Previous experience in a fast-paced production environment is a plus.

Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with 12-hour shifts. Please note that additional duties may be assigned as needed.
