Job Posting: Material Handler / Warehouse Operator
Key Responsibilities:
- Lift 20-50 pounds occasionally, 10-25 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly.
- Pull bar stock metal products for production, truck loading/unloading.
- Final package materials per customer specifications.
- Ensure size, material finish, and accuracy of finished goods.
- Stage materials for outbound shipping.
- Operate crane and forklift/side loader (training and certification provided).
- Conduct daily prestart inspections on all equipment/machines.
- Confirm job to customer PO’s, move supplies as needed.
- Maintain good housekeeping and work in a safe manner.
- Requirements:
- Ability to lift specified weights.
- Must be able to work overtime, sometimes at short notice.
- 1/hour shift differential.
- Long pants, steel toes with metatarsal guards required. Company provides hard hat, Kevlar sleeves, and safety glasses.
Hours: Monday-Friday (2) 3pm-11:30pm & (3) 7pm-3:30am
Pay:
- Entry level: $17.98/hour
- Fully skilled: $20.11/hour
