Downstream Manufacturing Supervisor

Kelly Science & Clinical is currently recruiting for a Downstream Manufacturing Supervisor for a biopharmaceutical company in Oklahoma City, OK.   This role will be responsible for supervising the cell culture and downstream processing operations in a GMP environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to established protocols, regulatory standards, and quality parameters.

  • Lead and supervise a team responsible for production tasks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for quality control and assurance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve process deviations, maintain documentation, and participate in technology transfer activities.

  • Train and develop junior team members and ensure a safe and compliant work environment.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific field (Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Biology, etc.).

  • Over 6 years of experience in GMP manufacturing, with expertise in cell culture processes.

  • Understanding of bioreactor operations, aseptic techniques, upstream and downstream processing.

  • Familiarity with FDA and EMA regulations for biopharmaceutical production.

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills.
