Kelly Science & Clinical has a new, permanent opportunity for a Lab Technician in Middletown, OH!
Shift: 2-2-3 schedule | Overnight: 5pm-5am
Starting Pay: $25.79/hour

Job Summary
The Lab Technician is responsible for managing and improving laboratory processes, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, and conducting quality testing and certification of products. This is a safety-sensitive position that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a commitment to quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and improve laboratory processes.
- Conduct quality testing and certification of products.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and regulations.
- Calibrate, inspect, and measure laboratory equipment.
- Handle, prepare, and store solvents safely.
- Perform routine clerical tasks and sample requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.
- Complete projects and tasks to improve the quality department.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, or related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Hands on experience of the maintenance & repairs, in addition to the use of lab equipment such as pH meters, moisture balances, KF apparatus, HPLC’s, GC’s, IC’s and viscometers. This can be obtained in an educational setting or in a full-time job role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to continuous improvement
