Senior Civil Engineer (Civil site development, road design, stormwater design, permitting etc..)

NO CORP TO CORP (C2C) OR THIRD-PARTY RECRUITMENT
 

 

  • Location: Texas (Corpus Christi Area) – ONSITE

  • Duration: 3 month contract (contract extension expectation)

  • Pay: Negotiable on direct related experience.

  • Work Authorization: Must be physically located currently in the United States with current employment authorization documents without a Visa that requires transfer of sponsorship now. This role will not sponsor Visa’s at any time.

 

Summary: 

This is an outstanding opportunity for a results-driven Senior Civil Engineer to support design development of civil engineering designs for the Lithium Refinery located in greater Corpus Christi of Texas.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Originate and check civil deliverables of high complexity, including specifications, drawings, reports, and calculations

  • Develop and/or improve in-house standards, specifications, and templates

  • Serve as the in-house subject matter expert on civil considerations for project design and construction permits and provide technical support to other teams within the company

  • Collaborate with external consultants, contractors, and government officials to obtain necessary permits and approvals

  • Work with internal teams to define and solicit scopes of work from third-party engineers to support project costing, contracting, and scheduling

  • Participate in project design/model and constructability reviews and attend site visits and coordination meetings

 

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience and a Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Texas.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Civil engineering/Site Development, with a proven track record of managing medium to large-scale projects

  • Advance experience in the use of AutoCAD, Civil3D, Revit and as well as hydrology/stormwater management software for civil design

  • Work experience should emphasize Civil Site design of heavy industrial type facilities including stormwater management plans, stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP), wastewater and process water management

  • Familiar with the provisions of AASHTO, ASTM, ACI, TCEQ and WBDG UFC codes. Knowledge of construction materials and construction details and techniques

  • Knowledge of technical responsibilities of other disciplines associated with Facilities Design
