Kelly is partnering with our client to hire a Sr. Logistics Clerk in the Mailing Department. If you’re passionate about advancing your career while helping others in a dynamic environment, this is the opportunity for you!

As a Sr. Logistics Clerk, you will handle specialized processing of the company’s products and support various operational activities. This role involves processing mail, ensuring accurate handling of materials, operating equipment, and assisting with quality control.

Job Title: Sr. Logistics Clerk
Location: El Dorado Hills, CA
Hourly Rate: $20 – $24 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: 6am-6pm

  • Sunday-Tuesday, every other Saturday

  • 3 Days one week, 4 days the next week

Bonus: Annual Bonus Eligibility
Benefits: Medical, dental, life, vision insurance, 401k with match, parental leave, 15 vacation days, 5 sick days, and 3 personal days per year. Medical insurance starts immediately upon hire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collate and assemble orders, including inserting and de-inserting kits, statements, and other materials.

  • Pick stock and materials as required, maintain inventory levels, and set up workstations for different jobs.

  • Follow all procedures to ensure adherence to company and MPTQM standards.

  • Operate manual or semi-automatic equipment (e.g., bindery, folding) and meter mail as needed.

  • Prepare mail accurately, including bundling, sleeving, labeling, palletizing, and shrink-wrapping.

  • Perform quality checks and resolve production problems promptly.

  • Sort mail by weight and destination (e.g., international, domestic).

  • Utilize factory systems to log in/out, follow instructions, and complete tasks.

  • Ensure correct postage via USPS, FedEx, UPS, and maintain accurate postage logs.

  • Handle paperwork such as schedules, work orders, package accountability, and cost reports.

  • Track mail dates and prioritize hot jobs to meet customer agreements.

  • Provide direction, assistance, and training to new associates and temporary supervision in the absence of the Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to 1 year of experience in a high-volume production environment.

  • 1+ year of related experience preferred with a high school diploma.

  • Proficiency in operating a PC and using software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
