Title: Technical Data Analyst
Location: Lake Orion, MI
Duration: 12 months +        

Overview

  • The onsite facility provides a single location where parts replaced under warranty on vehicles in the U.S. and Canada are returned for root cause analysis.  Responsible for documenting non-compliance concerns with inbound shipments from dealers.

  • Provide formal feedback to the field staff, interact with dealers, and take appropriate action to address the non-compliance when required.

  • Review existing summary reports of non-compliance issues for possible action.

  • Complete documentation regarding non-compliance using provided PowerPoint templates for formal field/dealer feedback.

  • Ensure evidence supports actions taken.

  • Interface directly with the dealer, field staff, and the WPC team.

Responsibilities

  • Identify non-compliance concerns using existing reports (i.e., hazmat, improper packaging, incorrect parts).

  • Respond to requests from the WPC team to document a concern with when non-compliance is observed.

  • Document non-compliance in provided PowerPoint templates for a professional/technical audience.

  • Provide field staff/dealer with formal feedback using provided PowerPoint templates to substantiate the concern. 

  • Communicate verbally and in writing with the dealers, when required.

  • Act as site representative for dealer inquiries regarding feedback, including hazmat, improper packaging, and return of incorrect parts.  Respond respectfully.

  • Take appropriate action to address the non-compliance issues, when needed.   

  • Monitor weekly/monthly reporting to identify trends.

  • Work with the internal customer to identify actions required to achieve the desired results.

  • Ensure accurate and proper reporting to leadership.

  • Support meetings as required.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma required

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflict

  • Self-motivating with limited supervision

  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year Associate’s degree

  • Automotive knowledge

  • Experience working in an independent/dealership service or parts department

  • Experience in creating documentation for a professional/technical audience

  • Experience with hazmat regulations and Department of Transportation 49 CFR

Additional Information

  • Onsite

  • Monday – Friday / 7am – 4pm

  • Split between office environment and viewing automotive parts in connected warehouse
