Pick, Pack, Material Handler – Newville, PA
Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
D Shift: Thurs-Sat (6pm-6am) – $21.00

What’s a typical day as a Pick, Pack, Material Handler? You’ll be:
- Manually or using a hand truck performing various material handling duties in the facility.
- Manually loading finished product on pallets or hand trucks.
- Stacking skids or pallets in designated areas.
- Providing cleaning services, including sweeping floors, cleaning offices, and removing trash in proper containers or designated areas.
- Performing other related tasks to keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a High School Diploma/GED (preferred).
- Can stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
- Can lift and/or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Are capable of regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Are able to walk frequently in a distribution center and around the area; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
- Can work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variation and can access all areas of the building without limitations.
- Have the ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed by the customer.
- Have strong attention to detail.
